Great St. Louis bank robbery: A group of three criminals is planning to rob the Southwest Bank in St. Louis. Gino, one of the criminals, has brought along George Fowler (Steve McQueen), who is to be the driver for the other three. The other 2 criminals don't trust hime, and the boss insists on testing George first. Gino also makes George ask Ann, Gino's sister and George's former girlfriend, for money. But Ann suspects something, and she begins to confront George, causing complications and creating tension among the gang. Master touch: Kirk Douglas stars as a master thief in this spy action yarn. Wolfgang Preiss plays the main mob boos that Kirk has to deal with. Car chase scenes and fight scenes highlight this action thriller. Can Kirk Douglas pull off this extraordinary heist? |
